My experience as a Cosplay Guest at Northampton Comic Con

So Northampton is my home town and this was only the second year of Northampton Comic Con. I guested the first year so this was second time guesting there.
Last year was probably the best 'first time' convention I had been to and this year did not disappoint, it was bigger, there were more guests, more props, more traders and good attendance both days.
This year there was also a ticketed after party and the band that
played 'The Usual Suspects' were great.
I really enjoyed delivering panels which were quite well attended and enjoyed watching Panels from Nanayena and GingerSnaps.
My favourite part was seeing everyone's costumes over the weekend, I loved meeting new people and was really impressed with everyone who got up on stage in the competition.
Also Paper Roses did a good job on the mic over the weekend keeping people updated about what was coming up on stage.
Thank you to everyone who came to say hi to me in the Cosplay Zone and special thanks to those who brought something from my stand - I put any money I make straight back into Costume Making :)
The organisers are fantastic people who really try to understand what makes people have a good time and I was again honoured and happy that they wanted me to be part of it all :) I am already looking forward to next year!
